Soooooo, I have a soft spot for moms. Single moms, adoptive moms, first time moms, moms in waiting, it doesn’t matter the title. Just that you think of yourself as a mom, want to be a mom, or just play the role of one every once in a while. Well, before I became a mom, God told me to take care of moms. This was during a difficult season when I desperately wanted to be a mom. I remember praying for God to take the desire away because I couldn’t handle watching all these pregnant bellies around me grow, while my womb was empty. God prompted me to help these moms care for their babies. I didn’t understand God’s instructions, but I gave this some thought. I decided everyone needs to eat. So, I’ll feed them and their spouse. I’ll prep meals for them, so that they can focus on caring for their little one. And that’s what I did. Rebekah was the first mom I took care of in this way. I’ll talk about that amazing woman on a future post. Years later, while expecting her second she said those meals were her favorite gift. I kept prepping meals for mom after mom. I sometimes attended baby showers empty handed, knowing I would later fill a freezer. Out of my meal prepping for expecting moms birthed, so much. First, was a church small group in which moms gathered at my house on Sundays to meal prep for the week. We would chop veggies, while discussing Jesus, prayers, sermons, and our kiddos. This was pre-pandemic of course. The pandemic made us take it virtual, but we still met, talked about Jesus and prepped our meals. We had a great time and the week would go by so much smoother not having to spend extra time in the kitchen. My goal was for these mamas to have more time to spend with Jesus since they didn’t have to be in the kitchen. Now, that’s my new direction for my blog. I am turning my small group into a website. I want to help people, mainly moms, but if you are a dad and do most of the cooking you are more than welcomed here, find ways to spend more time with Jesus. Primarily through changing your perception of what spending time with Jesus looks like, while also meal planning, sharing the load, being strategic about praying, and finding Jesus in the kitchen.
A couple things will be coming out soon!!! Think recipes, prayer journals, and the works.

Tiffani, what a beautiful demonstration of being Jesus’ hands and feet as you lovingly served these mamas! I look forward to viewing your recipes and as a fierce prayer warrior myself, you have me most intrigued with what an online prayer journal looks like. God bless you and your writing!
I enjoy reading everything you post. I am excited about your new adventures.
