God,
Thank you for 2020. Thank you for the harvest of so many souls this year. While we were quarantining, you were harvesting. Thank you for using this pandemic to draw so many closer to you and using it to teach us to depend on you.
Forgive us for operating in self reliance. Forgive us for assuming the worse and not rejoicing in every single day that you have made and allowed us to see. Forgive us for not following your instructions when our circumstances changed. Forgive us for not keeping our eye on you, the beginning and the end, the alpha and the omega.
God renew our joy in 2020. Help us to continue to draw closer to you. Help us to rest and trust in your promises that you are for us, with us, and are interceding on our behalf.
God in Haggai 2:9 your word says that the glory of the present house will be greater than the former. God let this apply to 2020 and let the glory of the present days be greater than the former days. Let the harvest of souls that take place in the last part of 2020, be exceedingly abundantly above anything we can ask, imagine or think. God let today be like the 24th day of the 9th month in Haggai 2:19 when you said that from this day on I will bless you. Let us be blessed for the rest of 2020. Let us bare more fruit. Let us look back on 2020 and see a time when we were close to God and had great faith. A time when we fully expected miracles. A time when we sought your face and you answered our prayers.
God there has been a shaking of all nations and your house is being filled with souls. God your glory has shown through this pandemic with churches being online and I ask that you continue to show us your glory. Make this a year of rejoicing, a year of great harvest, a year that all nations were shook and your house was filled to the brim.
God show us your glory. Fill this place. Draw us in. Make the latter part of 2020 greater than the former.
We ask these things in Jesus name
Amen

Honestly, this prayer has been one of the most challenging things I’ve encountered this year and in a long period of time. This year is unique in the history of this world. This prayer and view is so focused and drowns out the noise. Our hurts are very real and personal; however, the harvesting of souls is more important and is often lost in the shuffle. Continue to let God use you unapologetically! This is an unashamed and eternal mindset!
